Dr. Shortell is the Blue Cross of California Distinguished Professor of Health Policy and Management and Professor of Organization Behavior at the School of Public Health and Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley. He is also the Dean of the School of Public Health at Berkeley and holds appointments in the Department of Sociology at University of California-Berkeley and the Institute for Health Policy Research, University of California-San Francisco.
